FORTINET FOUNDERS CUP

March 20, 2026

Robyn Choi

Menlo Park, California, USA

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Joining me after the second round the Fortinet Founders Cup is Robyn Choi. A nice 4-under round today. Can you give some first impressions of this golf course since we haven't played out here before?

ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, I think I really like the setup of this golf course. It's pretty tight, which kind of suits my style of game. Just off the tee, you have to be pretty accurate off the tee; try to get on the fairways is pretty big.

But overall I mean, it's a little hilly. Few hills to walk up. Overall I think it's really well maintained and it's a really good tournament course I think.

Q. You played in the afternoon yesterday; morning today. Saw some pretty big differences in scores. Can you give me insight into why you think played differently yesterday afternoon?

ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, so I think even like my first couple holes in the afternoon the greens were kind of pretty receptive. They were spinning a little bit, but as the day went on and the weather got hot and I think the greens started to like burnout a little bit or dry out, so like it wasn't spinning as much and it was releasing a lot, which during our practice rounds I felt like it was pretty soft.

So we're kind of playing for that, and we just see it you bouncing huge and had to adjust to that I think. I think that was the main reason, just firmer greens, yeah.

Q. We have a lot of Aussie and Kiwi representation on Tour. Hannah winning in Singapore a few weeks ago or Minjee winning KPMG last year. How does it feel to see so many of your countrymen out here?

ROBYN CHOI: I think it's really great. I just feel like Australia itself, growing up with them and seeing them be very successful is very -- you know, like feels like we can do that as well.

Being in Australia I feel like it's good for the juniors just to see it's something that is possible. We can do it. Obviously Karrie has done it and that's who we kind of looked up to. I feel like now Hannah and Minjee are there for the juniors now. So I think it's good for the game, especially in Australia, yeah.
