Q. Dean, really well played today. I'm going to get to the business in just a second, but yesterday you said that was the best day of your life on the golf course. Talk to me about the 17th at the Lion's Den, that show that you put on for everybody. Where does that rank?
DEAN BURMESTER: That's top three highlights of my career, I think, especially after hitting a shot like that after all of that is awesome. Yesterday I tried to get them amped up, and I airmailed the green, so today obviously I took less club, and it worked out.
It's a bit of a guessing game with adrenaline pumping through your veins. But it's Football Friday, we've got the World Cup soccer coming up, and we've got to support Bafana Bafana, and I thought that would be a pretty cool tribute.
Q. This is a significant week for you as well as your boys. It can be sometimes mentally and physically demanding. How are you balancing all that and coming out to perform the way you did?
DEAN BURMESTER: Just family time, honestly. That's the biggest thing. Last night I had such a great braai with my family. I haven't seen them in three weeks, and we just sat around the table, told stories, cooked some great meat and had a couple glasses of wine, and just takes my mind off what's in front of me, which was today.
I managed to come out of the blocks pretty good. It built on, and the scorable holes I scored. Tonight hopefully more of the same; I'll have to ask my to brother-in-law to braai again.
