MAO SAIGO: This course the greens are pretty soft, so I was wondering if the score is going to be low. But rough is pretty long, too, so the ball striking going to be a key.

Q. Going into the next three rounds, what is your focus going to be?

MAO SAIGO: Keep it in the fairway and control the speed on the green, into the green, and that's what I'm going to do next three days.

Q. It's early in the season; we're starting the American events; what are your goals for the season?

MAO SAIGO: I'm still searching where my golf game is this season, but I would rather focus on my putting and golf shot, golf swing.
