Q. Your first career ace on TOUR. What was that feeling like seeing it go in?

CHAD RAMEY: It was great, especially in the moment. I couldn't get any putts to fall, so to not have to putt, that was nice.

Q. Is that like a sigh of relief, just like, I don't have to get the putter out of the bag?

CHAD RAMEY: Yes, absolutely.

Q. What club did you use?

CHAD RAMEY: I used a 7. I was hitting kind of a smooth 7-iron and it landed perfectly, almost pin high right on the slope and fed right down to the hole.

Q. How many aces do you have in your life?

CHAD RAMEY: I don't know exactly, but about eight or nine, but that's the first ever in competition.

CHAD RAMEY: Yes, and it's at THE PLAYERS.

Q. Your second shot on 17, could you walk through the process of how you played that?

CHAD RAMEY: Yes. Right before I hit it, I was just like, I was just like, please just get the ball on the green. The drop zone shot, where that pin is and the pinned, is not where you want to be. So I just kind of weighed the odds and we determined it was worth taking the chance. It couldn't have worked for perfectly.

Q. Do you ever practice a shot like that?

CHAD RAMEY: No.

Q. You were just praying, get on the green?

CHAD RAMEY: Yes.
