Q. That was some disgustingly good ball-striking today. Does the course being as demanding as it is and the conditions narrow the focus some?

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, I think in some regards it does. There were times where I was super uncomfortable on the tee and was able to power through it. Made a couple mistakes on 1 and 15, and then that birdie on the last hole is going to be sour in my head, unfortunately, because I hit that second shot so good, so perfect, and it landed just in the rough and bounced back in. I thought that was going to bounce through and come up and almost be a tap-in eagle potentially, and to make par there was kind of sad for me. I played great golf otherwise, besides 15 and that last hole. Really couldn't ask for much more.

Q. Three-shot lead, are we entering the thing you talked in your ride-along the other day, the sphere of dominance?

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, I guess. I hope so. This golf course, you've always got to be on your watch, and unfortunately with it being so difficult out here and everybody playing so well, that can go real quick. You've got to be on top of your game no matter what. I had moments out there on 14 when I hit that shot right at the flag, it felt under control, and then I went and hit it in the water on the next hole. That's the game of golf.
