Q. A really solid round from you. This is a golf course that can really test players' patience. You hit some great quality shots out there, a lot of them, in fact. How did you manage out there?

JON RAHM: Played really good today. Felt like I played actually significantly better than yesterday, just little margins. As an example, the tee shots on 10 and 11, both of them great line, both of them were good. One somehow didn't make it to the fairway, landed very soft on the downslope, the other one was two yards too many, now you're playing it defensive.

Besides that, it was just putting. Couldn't really make many putts out there today. Made that one on 6 and from then on missed a lot of birdie chances.

But it happens. They were all good feeling putts, just maybe misreads. Those greens can be quite tricky, and they put some pins a little bit closer to slopes. It happens. But happy with how I'm playing, and hopefully keep doing it for the rest of the weekend.

Q. The word you used after your win last week was "relief." How much does that free you up this weekend to maybe go back-to-back?

JON RAHM: It changes absolutely nothing. The goal is to win every week. Maybe there might be a sense of comfort if I have a chance going in Sunday afternoon, but really shouldn't change the mindset at all.

Q. What's your game plan going into the weekend besides hitting more golf shots like you did today?

JON RAHM: Yeah, hopefully do as well as I have so far off the tee, keep that iron game sharp and hopefully make a few. Not much you can ask for; 7-under through two rounds here is really good.
