ARNOLD PALMER INVITATIONAL

March 8, 2026

Cameron Young

Bay Hill, Florida, USA

Bay Hill Club and Lodge

Quick Quotes

Q. Looking to be your best finish here at the tournament.

CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, it is.

Q. What are your thoughts after this week?

CAMERON YOUNG: I played really well. I played plenty well enough to win. I just didn't putt great. But all the pieces are kind of there, so to show myself that I can give myself a reasonable chance to win around a place like this, I feel like it's a good step to the start of my season.

Q. How much confidence do you take into next week now with how you played this place that's obviously tough going to a place like TPC Sawgrass that's tough?

CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, certainly some. Sawgrass presents its own challenges, so it's really back to work and go try to prepare for the next three days and bring as much of the same mindset as I did this week to the PLAYERS next week. I feel like that's what I did really well this week and, yeah, I mean, I got myself in a place where I hit a bunch of good shots and sometimes the putts just don't go in.

Q. Is putting maybe the biggest thing you're going to work on over the next few days?

CAMERON YOUNG: Probably not any more than normal. I mean, these greens are pretty sketchy at times. The greens at THE PLAYERS are very different, so if I feel like something is off when I'm there, maybe, but for now just try to get some sleep and get back to work.
