Fresno State 74, Nevada 57

THE MODERATOR: We have student-athletes Ahrray Young, Skylar Durley, Coach Amanda Levens. Let's get some thoughts from you, Coach.

AMANDA LEVENS: I thought we really battled in the second half. We put ourselves in a position to -- it was a two-possession game, and then we just had too many let-ups after that point, and turnovers were a big issue for us.

THE MODERATOR: Questions for the student-athletes.

Q. This is for Ahrray. What has it meant to you to get back out on the court and be able to play for a team that's pretty local to your home?

AHRRAY YOUNG: It's meant everything to me just to be healthy and just to be out there. I know sometimes we don't get the results that we're looking for, but it's just a lot that goes into the opportunity to even have the ability to go out there. Just to be able to work with my teammates, and they're calling me up and making me better. All of that was just amazing to be able to do.

Q. Skylar, you guys had some pretty strong surges in the second half. What was kind of the mantra on the bench during those periods?

SKYLAR DURLEY: I would say the bench was just telling us just to keep going. Like shots are not falling right now, but they're going to fall. Just keep being aggressive. They're going to foul us. That's what we were doing, and we trusted it, and we got fouled, and we went to the free-throw line.

THE MODERATOR: Thank you, ladies. Questions for Coach.

Q. Coach, do you have a specific moment from the season that you can recall that kind of best highlighted the character of this team?

AMANDA LEVENS: I think what you saw on the third quarter has kind of been the story of our season. We're capable of a lot, but unable to do it consistently. I think we've had some good moments.

I commended the team after the game. I think February is a time where teams can get tired and maybe complacent or just it's a long season, and our team did not do that. They kept showing up every day despite not maybe getting the results that we wanted.

They were in the gym more in the second half of the season than they were the first half, and I think some of that -- we have a lot of freshmen that were playing for us. Just understanding what it takes to be good at this level and to make shots when the pressure is on you, but I thought we worked really hard and just evolved throughout the course of the season the way you want your team to.

Unfortunately, I don't think it reflects in the win column for us, but there's a lot of great experience of people that hopefully will be coming back in a Nevada uniform next year.
