Quick Quotes
Q. Never easy going back out after a delay, but overall your feelings on the score?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: Very happy with the score. 5-under out there is always pretty good. Especially those greens were really baked out before all the rain came. But, yeah, I scored really well. I putted awesome. Still not driving it all that great, so super happy with 5-under.
Q. It appears that you've done some really good work with T.J. Yeaton, doing a bit of work with him again. Are you starting to find your way to find some comfort with where you are with your full swing?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: Still a little bit early to say. I would say a lot of my iron game is pretty solid. Swinging it well with the irons. It's just, as soon as I get my driver in my hands it's just not working. So we're still trying to figure that out. But we're definitely on the right track, it's just hard to do it in the middle of a tournament.
Q. You did a lot of the heavy lifting today when this course was starting to look like a U.S. Open venue out there rather than a PGA TOUR one. How will this affect how it's going to play now for the guys who are out there?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: I'm thinking it's going to be a lot easier. Depends on how much the wind starts to blow up. Obviously mud balls might be one thing to contend with. But I think I would rather take that than super firm greens.
