Quick Quotes
Q. How did that one shot in the rain go?
SEPP STRAKA: Not good. Not good. Hit it in the bunker from 95 yards. So, yeah, I was fortunate to be able to get that up and down, and then kept rolling.
Q. What did you find once you got back out there? It was a pretty strong round.
SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, I was playing really well. When I first got out there, didn't really feel quite as good on the range warming up again. It didn't feel quite as sharp, I would say, as it did the first nine or 10 holes. After a few swings, kind of got back in the rhythm of things. Hit some really good shots coming down the stretch.
Q. Did you spend some time with Tillery last week?
SEPP STRAKA: Not with him, but talking to him all the time. We made a few changes.
Q. How much did the conditions change after the rain came?
SEPP STRAKA: A good bit. The greens were definitely a little slower, a little more receptive. Started to dry out a little bit towards the end of the day. I mean, there's no moisture in there, so I think that's going to run right through and they will be nice and firm tomorrow again.
Q. What's the biggest tweak you're trying to make?
SEPP STRAKA: Just a little bit of, in transition, just trying to stay a little more centered, I would say.
Q. From five shots back, how much can you try to push the issue?
SEPP STRAKA: Out here you can't really push the issue. You got to just play golf. If you're playing well, you probably can give yourself a chance. If you're not, then you won't.
