Q. To beat the Dominican team, you need so many things. What do you think is going to be the key to winning the game today against the Dominican Republic, to have a positive result? What would be the key for you, for the team to beat the Dominican Republic in this game?

FREDDY ZAMORA: Well, in my opinion, to have a positive mindset, we have to keep that mindset throughout the game. We have to be strong. They have great players, and they play with passion. But we will try to reach the same level. So we need to have a very strong mindset.

Q. Freddy, we are speaking about the Nicaraguan team and you want to surprise the DR, but it is very important to play because you are almost playing an MLB team. This is maybe a dream come true for many people that would like to reach the MLB.

FREDDY ZAMORA: Yes, it's been my dream to be participating in this kind of tournament, and of course I think a lot about that. If I play well, it's going to be good for my career, but bottom line, I'm here to help Nicaragua win several games in this Classic.

Q. In 2023, we saw that in Miami there were so many Nicaraguan fans. As a team, are you aware of that? Have you been speaking about the support that you will have? And how important is it to play against a team that has so many fans as Nicaragua?

FREDDY ZAMORA: Yes, we realized that we were happy to play in Miami. We have so many Nicaraguan fans in the city, and this is going to help us, to see their support when we are playing. They are supporting the team, and we are going to play for them, as well.

Q. The Nicaraguan fans are dreaming of this game. What can you tell those fans that are believing in your national team?

FREDDY ZAMORA: I would tell them that we are doing all the best to show the world that we deserve to be here in this Classic and that their support means a lot to us. Continue supporting us because we are going to play for them.
