Tokyo Dome

Team Chinese Taipei

Pregame Press Conference

Q. First of all, tell us about the hurt player, Chen, he was hurt last night. And you have a day game against Czech Republic, do you have any plans to save players for tomorrow's game?

HAI-JUI TSENG: He is capable of moving but I think it's possible to put him as a pinch runner and see the next couple days if he's able to swing a bat.

And preparation for tomorrow's day game, we are not thinking about tomorrow's game yet but we are trying to focus on tonight's contest to win.

Q. You've got two key players injured. Without having your two key players, what's your game plan?

HAI-JUI TSENG: Yes, our two key players got hurt and that was a disadvantage to us but we still have ability of depth of the roster and very strong mental, so we are trying to focus for the future games.

Q. Tonight you are facing against the world No. 1 Team Japan. What's your point to put your starting pitcher number 47, what's your expectation?

HAI-JUI TSENG: Yes, these three pitchers are top among the Chinese Taipei baseball. The reason why we put him as starting pitcher is he has a lot of potential.
