Q. Curious about the decision in the second inning to have Muzik bunt and the thought process there.
PAVEL CHADIM: It was my decision. I do it for team but I didn't want to go 3-0 but it was his decision. The bunt was mine.
Q. Regarding the pitcher, Satoria, he went three and two thirds, gave up only one run. How do you evaluate him and he was also limited to pitch 48-pitch count and he is able to pitch the day after. Who will be your probable starter for tomorrow?
PAVEL CHADIM: I'm so happy for Satoria because he told me and the fans that it will be his last national team tournament. I'm so happy, he helped the team a lot.
Yes, he has a chance to pitch against Japan, yes, but this is my decision.
Tomorrow we will start Novak, lefty.
Q. We want to ask you about facing the Chinese Taipei team?
PAVEL CHADIM: They are champions, what to say more? It's an honor for us to play with them. It's an honor to see their program, unbelievable whole country how they love baseball. I think we have similar love of the sport. We wish them all the best for tomorrow.
Q. You just mentioned the game for tomorrow. So you are playing against Premier12 champions tomorrow, and do you have any specific game plan for tomorrow's game, can you share, please?
PAVEL CHADIM: We have a specific plan, as most as possible, scoreless innings.
Q. Today you gave up a couple runs by home runs. But the result, it was a close game until the late innings. What part is missing of the national team?
PAVEL CHADIM: Thanks for question, but every game is different. Today warehouse seven scoreless innings. We were close, have eight scoreless innings because it was just one catch on first. We don't are double play. And without double play, you don't have so big chance to win because double play is the best friend of pitcher, and in today's match we needed this friend. If we will have more than seven scoreless innings, I still believe we have a chance.
But I don't want to say that this game was super bad. We are close. I think it was an easy game for Australia. I am proud that we showed that we are part of this tournament. It's not easy to be an amateur and be from Europe and play with the best guys in the world.
If we continue in these two performances, I feel a chance.
Q. I think that in the late innings, I think it was the bottom of the 8th, you were kind of excited on the ground ball double play. Was it a missed signal?
PAVEL CHADIM: I am little bit emotional, sorry. I didn't think it was a good decision to put slow hitter, slow runner on base when we have Max on first. Maybe not, maybe yes. But I was thinking that it was the right decision, and one of my -- part of my job is do all right decisions. And maybe not. But I was angry to myself.
