THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. We talked a couple of days ago when it was relatively early with your time with the team. Now you're here at the dome. You've been able to practice here. What can you tell me about what it's like to play with these and what you're expecting when the game starts here later tonight?

TERRIN VAVRA: Yeah, I think so far so good with these guys. They've been really easy to acclimate to. They've been very welcoming to me and made the transition here really smooth.

As far as what we can expect, you know that there's a group of guys in there that really cares about the product of baseball they put on the field. They really care about this opportunity, and they're going to put everything into it.

I think there's a lot of talented kids in there, and it's been fun for me to get to share my experiences with them, but also learn from theirs and see a different version of baseball that they've experienced to this point.

I think getting to see what we put out on the field is going to be really fun and exciting.

TERRIN VAVRA: Not a lot of them are full-time into baseball, and this is something they do as I passion. That for me has been a great perspective change. Just being able to see how much they care, see the time they put in away from their day jobs and their family and put into this game and still be able to compete at a high level. It's been pretty fun to see.

Q. Just want to do ask about the Korean team you'll be facing tonight? What have you seen from them from some of the recent games?

TERRIN VAVRA: They're a very talented group. There are some players I've played against, played well, and I know how capable and how talented they are, but just in Korea how serious they take baseball, how much work they put in and how really talented that group is.

It's going to be fun to see where we line up and get to compete against them.

TERRIN VAVRA: Yeah, I think, like I said, this has been a super easy group acclimate to. They've been very warm to me, and it's been really exciting, you know, how truly good of people are in that clubhouse. It's been super fun for me to get to experience that.

As far as them in this environment, in this atmosphere, I think they're going to be able to go out and not let this moment get too big, because they have been here, and that's something that I don't have that experience, so a lot of these guys were here in 2023 and got to experience this and know what it's all about. I think they're ready to go.
