Quick Quotes
Q. All right, Emma, opened with a 4-under 68 here, your first round as a pro on the LPGA. Just talk about the nerves and how you just settle in and put up a good score.
EMMA McMYLER: Yeah, I wasn't too nervous to start out. I was just pretty steady, but just stayed calm and know that I prepared well this offseason. I put in the work and I'm ready to perform.
Q. And then got your card through Q-Series. Finished I believe in the top 20 there. Was there something in your game that clicked towards the end of the year, or was it just comfortability of being a pro after playing on Epson last year?
EMMA McMYLER: A little bit of both. I kind of played through an injury towards the beginning of last year, so getting healthy was a big thing.
And then once I was able to get healthy I just started striking the ball really well. I kind of found a groove in my swing and really just knocking down my targets. I've been playing pretty well; putting up some good numbers.
Q. And kind of talk about Epson Tour a little bit. Comfortability of becoming a pro, learning how to travel, all the stuff that comes with being a pro, how do you think that will help you throughout the year this year and even in this round today?
EMMA McMYLER: It helped me a lot. Just getting comfortable out on the pro circuit, knowing what you need to do to prepare for Thursday leading into the week, and then just managing all the travel and playing back to back weeks was a big help, and I think it'll only help me throughout this year on LPGA.
