THE MODERATOR: Welcome. Would you like to recap your first round?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) Today's round was overall went well without any big hiccups.

Q. It's your first time being at Blue Bay LPGA. What are your impressions of the course? What do you see as the main challenges and where the opportunities lie?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) The greens are very difficult here so rather than the more important front tee shot, the iron shots are more crucial. So after a tee shot making sure there is opportunity to make a good wedge shot.

Q. (Regarding defending champion Rio Takeda/LPGA card/repeating success.)

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) ...my card in my (indiscernible) actually. I had an ankle injury last week so wasn't able to fully practice. Coming into this week the injury was still there, so my goal was just able to finish the round without any stops in it.

I was actually surprised that my round went well.

Q. Which hole you think is strong today?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) I started on the back nine so hole 11. I missed the putt but was able to kind of save that.

On hole 2. So I was able to make that putt there so...

Q. Hole 2?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) Yes.

Q. This is your rookie year on the LPGA Tour. Any goal set this rookie year by you?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) I want to be able to finish this season without being hurt and I want to make sure to end up to play in the CME championship.
