Q. (No Microphone.)
DREW DONOVAN: I keep hearing over and over again that these guys want to win Mr. Palmer's tournament and wear that red cardigan on Sunday.
Q. One of the cool things with API is also the Palmer Cup, and how it can integrate with each other. Talk a little bit about what the relationship is like with the Palmer Cup and API?
DREW DONOVAN: Yeah, Arnold Palmer Cup is one of the best amateur golf team events that's out there that not many people know about. So we're, our team is heavy into supporting the Arnold Palmer Cup, and bringing the legacy alive within the Arnold Palmer Cup. But we've got 24, 25 players this week that are Arnold Palmer Cup alumni, former exemptions, into the API as Palmer Cuppers. And really it goes back -- one of our exemptions, Chris Kirk and Billy Horschel, they're both Arnold Palmer Cup alumni from awhile ago. I won't date it. And then Daniel Bennett this week is our current Arnold Palmer Cup exemption, and just the nicest guy, but fantastic golfer.
Some of the best golfers in the world -- the most unique thing is that it's men and women. So we've got future PGA TOUR players and future LPGA Tour players that join us every year, and we're really excited to be able to tie that in this week.
Q. What makes this different than every other PGA TOUR event?
DREW DONOVAN: You know, there's a lot week-to-week that's the same. The difference here is it's Mr. Palmer's home. We're trying to shine a light on the legacy of Arnold Palmer this week. And what makes that unique is he was one of the greatest PGA TOUR players to be in the game. The legacy that he left with these guys, paving the way in so many ways, that's what they're coming here to honor, and that's what they're coming here to win his tournament and wear the red cardigan at the end of the day.
