Q. After the final round of the HSBC Women's World Championship, Auston Kim. A great week this week. Can you just reflect on it a little bit?

AUSTON KIM: Yeah, overall, I think it was a really solid week. A great way to start the year. I hit a lot of bad shots but I also hit a lot of good ones, and it was really confidence boosting. I hit all these bad shots, and I didn't feel like I had anything chose to my A Game, but I was still able it pull off a result like this and play some really solid golf.

Overall, I'm proud of myself, and there's still a lot of work to do. It's exciting.

Q. You're in your third year on tour and you seem to get better every year. What are you learning each year to continue to improve year after year?

AUSTON KIM: I think there's a lot to learn, whether it's golf-related or just human-related, and I feel like every single day is an opportunity to learn how to become a better golfer, how to become a better human.

There's a lot to learn still, but like I said a couple days ago, every second out on the course is a win, and every second out competing is something that I'm extremely grateful for. There's only things to gain, and I gained a lot this week, and I'm pretty proud of it.

Q. To the much time to rest and reflect; you're heading off to another tournament tonight. How is it that set you up for that and the rest of the season?

AUSTON KIM: When I get to the next venue, it's just a new week. It's great to have played really well here but when we get to the next tournament, it's a new week. It's a new tournament. I just don't want to get complacent or anything like that. It's appreciating the good. Taking the credit for everything that I did well this week, and trying to be honest with myself and reflect on what can I do better and what I can improve on so I get closer to that win. Just play better golf next time.

There's a lot to work on.

Q. And you have your parents out here with you. What does it mean for you to have them traveling around the world with you?

AUSTON KIM: I'm extremely lucky. Not a lot of kids can say that their parents are with them all the time. I think for someone who is in my position, it's easy to take all the credit and say that I'm extremely disciplined or that I have everything planned out, all the dots over my I's and T's crossed.

My mom and my dad are basically holding my life together, and they just allow me to play golf. I'm extremely fortunate to have two parents who do that for me. I appreciate them very, very much, and they do so much for me. I'm only here because of them.
