Q. Can you just sum up the week? I know it wasn't what you wanted but you did well out there.

MINJEE LEE: I think going into the week, I just like my game was all quite there. I think I'm proud of myself for sticking in there and still posting a score when I had to.

Yeah, I feel like this sets up for a nice start to the year and a good year ahead. So I feel like I can take away a lot more positives than negatives from this whole week.

Q. And obviously first event of the season is a great way to finish and set you up for the rest of it. Anything that you're going to take from this week?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I think my scrambling was pretty good. The second round I had a really good round, so I hope I can build on that and make some birdies to the next tournament.

Q. You've had some great finishes at this event. How nice is it to come back?

MINJEE LEE: I always feel like it's my first or second week to start the year. I'm always really looking forward to getting the year started, and especially being in Singapore and Marina Bay Sands is one of my sponsors, or Sands Group is one of my sponsors.

It's always nice to start in Singapore. The tournament's always looked after us so well, so I just love coming back.

Q. Was there a lot of Australian support?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I think a lot of people came from personal. So it was like "Go, Hannah!" "Go, Minjee!" It was nice, there was a lot of great support out there.
