Quick Quotes
Q. After the final round of the HSBC Women's World Championship, Angel Yin. A good week out there. Talk about what went well.
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, great week, actually. Overall my game was coming together. It always a plus going into the rest of the year. You never want to start off too poorly because it makes everything unsure. It's just a huge boost of confidence.
Q. Year after year, you come out on tour and you put down low scores. How do you continue to stay in it and compete?
ANGEL YIN: I don't know. I guess just liking it and putting in the work because you have to put in the work because you like it. Because it's a lot of effort to be honest. I was a bit struggling since -- I've been struggling since, like, Boston last year. So it's been a while. So to pull myself out of it is pretty cool.
Q. You mentioned pulling yourself out of it. What does that look like for you?
ANGEL YIN: Just trying to figure out my own game. You know, a bit of self-coaching, a bit of observation. Talking to smart people, too.
Q. You don't mind the Aussies --
ANGEL YIN: Hannah played great. I told my friend, if I can't finish first, I want to finish second. So welcome to everybody who finished third with me but we get to take a cut from that. It's great. I love when people play about golf, and she played great and is really deserving.
Q. What's your biggest takeaway from this week that will propel you?
ANGEL YIN: That I can still play golf and play good golf and be in contention. That's all I need to know because that means I'm on the right track and I'm going to continue down the path and hopefully something good will come out of it.
