HSBC WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

February 27, 2026

Hannah Green

Republic of Singapore

Sentosa Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. You birdied your last three coming in. Can you just talk about how your round because out there?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I felt I played a lot better than yesterday. Got a way with shots yesterday but felt like the putter was a little bit colder.

So I was hitting a lot of good shots on the back nine but just not really making the putt or wasn't perhaps going as close as I would like. But made a good putt on 16 from 12 feet, and made a really nice putt on 17 and 18.

So it was nice to finish in a positive way with three birdies, and hopefully I can take that momentum to the weekend.

Q. You had a great week last week at Honda. How are you feeling this season? Seems like you're off to a hot start.

HANNAH GREEN: I always enjoy having time off. I took pretty much the entire December off. Didn't touch a golf club. Actually caddied for my husband in a golf tournament and then I started my preseason.

So I made sure that I was well-rested before I got back into it and really highly motivated, and I think that helps me perform at the start of the year. And also Singapore and Thailand, places where I've had good results, that's always helpful.

But the mindset of being back at home is helpful so hopefully I can continue that the rest of year.

Q. Was that your first time caddying for him?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it was a lot of fun actually. Made me appreciate my caddie, Dave, and every other caddie on tour because I really wouldn't know -- I was carrying his bag. It was interesting to be on the other side of the ropes, I guess you could say, or the other side of the bag.

So he's now returning the favour and caddying for me. It's been quite fun these last two weeks.

Q. Is it nice to have him back here?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it's really nice having him because he is a player and he understands how a player feels even more so. It's been a lot of fun and we've had a lot of laughs on the golf course, so that's been really helpful.

Q. As a past champion, how nice is it to be back in Singapore?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, always love coming back. This is one of the best tournaments we play in Asia. I love coming to Singapore and it's so close to home. I actually have a lot of people from Western Australia here this week following me around.

I saw Minjee's name is on the leaderboard, so it's nice for us to both be up there and watch us with somewhat of a sleep-in tomorrow. I yeah, I really enjoy Singapore.

Q. There's seven Aussies representing in this tournament. It's fantastic, isn't it?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, honestly, it's the last two years that we've had so many new faces on tour. I think we've had maybe seven Aussies before, but maybe not all that perhaps contend in a tournament.

So I feel like Aussie golf is really in good hands, and obviously we have the Australian Open in a couple weeks' time. It will be really exciting.

Q. You know how to win out here. What are you focussing on next two rounds to get across the line again?

HANNAH GREEN: Scoring has always been around middle teens that's won this tournament. I'm a little bit far back from that. So I think I'm going to need a lot this weekend.

I think staying patient, which is what I did to be able to birdie the last three holes, giving myself as many good opportunities as possible and obviously limiting those bogeys.

Hopefully, yeah, again, if I can continue what I'm doing, I'll be up there hopefully Sunday.
