HONDA LPGA THAILAND

February 18, 2026

Muni He

Pattaya, Thailand

Siam Country Club Pattaya, Old Course

Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: All right, joining me here today ahead of the 2026 Honda LPGA Thailand is Muni Lily He. Lily, this is your first time at this event since 2023. Talk about what you're excited about this week and being back in Thailand.

MUNI HE: Yeah, I'm really happy to be back. I had to miss it the last two years, but being back here, I was telling my agent that everything feels so familiar and so comforting in a very nice way.

I'm just very excited to see I guess like just how it plays out this week and enjoy the environment.

Q. You played the LET event in Saudi Arabia last week. How is your game looking and what are you look forward to this season?

MUNI HE: Yeah, it was good. Last year in Riyadh I got a top 10, and this year I played four days in somewhat tricky conditions bogey-free, which is a win in my eye and I was very happy about that.

So, yeah, I think I've made some changes in the offseason and I think some of it is paying off, so I'm just excited to see like what I can do this week.

Q. Coming off the offseason you had an exciting announcement about your engagement. Can you share a bit about that with us as well as if you're doing my wedding planning.

MUNI HE: Yeah, no wedding planning yet. I think that's the stressful part. We're just very much enjoying it and feeling the buzz. Obviously our family and friends are very happy and it's nice to show up this week. It's like back to school. You see all the girls and everyone is congratulating each other. Few other girls engaged as well, so chatting with them about what they're doing.

It's a really good feeling to be back after a good offseason.

Q. You mentioned that you've been working on a few changes in your game. Can you be a bit more specific and tell us what those are?

MUNI HE: Yeah, a lot of the changes that I made in the offseason were actually equipment based. So towards the end of last season I made some pretty drastic changes through my bag, like in the middle of a tournament. I think at the beginning of this year we just wrapped that off by replacing the clubs that I felt like were putting me at a disadvantage or where I could have improved.

I really changed my entire bag from 6-iron upwards, which as of right now I feel like it's paying off.

Just a better fit for me overall compared to last year. I think a lot of it is just about optimizing.

Q. Have you set yourself any specific goals for this year or what would you like to achieve?

MUNI HE: I think my goals have really shifted in the past few years. You know, I think it's about what works for each player. For me, the goals that tend to work are not really based off results. Obviously that would be nice. For me it's just about getting better throughout my bag as a player and improving. I think I've really seen myself mature a lot since I turned professional.

So, yeah, I think my goal this year is obviously just to climb the leaderboards, rankings, but really it's just to become a better golfer as well.

Q. And congratulations on your announcement. We have to ask you as well are you a better driver than Alex is a golfer?

MUNI HE: Unfortunately I prefer not to drive at all. I can drive but I'm more of a passenger princess. He's gotten very good at golf throughout our relationship, so I have to give that one to him.

Q. What's his handicap and are you giving him lessons?

MUNI HE: You know, I try it help. Whether he listens or not, that's a different story.

I don't think he has a handicap. He's just so busy. Doesn't have a lot of time to play. But I think his best score with me was 79 so he broke 80. That's a big accomplishment.

Yeah, I think he just really enjoys it. His swing looks very nice. Maybe he's just watching me play a lot. Yeah.
