KIA SHOOTING STARS

February 14, 2026

Jalen Brunson

Karl-Anthony Towns

Allan Houston

Rick Brunson

Los Angeles, California, USA

Team Knicks

Press Conference

Q. Just curious about your thoughts on how the All-Star Weekend can bring together people from different continents into one place and sort of celebrate our shared love for the game?

JALEN BRUNSON: Yeah, I think it starts with obviously the game becoming more and more international. This year being USA versus the World, as well. I think basketball, regardless of what language you speak, is the same language. It's a universal thing.

Definitely an opportunity to bring everyone together.

Q. For Jalen and KAT, does this one feel a little bit sweeter with it coming against a team from Duke?

KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: I think winning in general is always fun.

JALEN BRUNSON: I feel like it's probably better for KAT because he should have played Duke in the national championship in 2014, but failed to get there.

Q. Rick, could you describe Jalen's contributions to the win, and Jalen, could you describe Rick's?

RICK BRUNSON: Well, I feel he came out a little lackadaisical, but I think he picked it up at the end. But all the credit goes to Allan. He just carried us. The old guys carried the young guys, so it was a great team effort.

JALEN BRUNSON: He did his job. I'm glad he did his job. I'll leave it at that. That's the best thing I can say right now.
