Q. Yesterday you visited kids of Crenshaw High School. Can you share how that came about and what was that experience like?
DEVIN BOOKER: It was dope, man. Nike put it together. They've been doing like a market down there at Crenshaw, at the high school. One of my favorite collaborators that I've put on any of my shoes is Hiroshi. It was a special moment to bring home to Crenshaw and take care of the kids.
Q. On the competition.
DEVIN BOOKER: I could have tied it, I think. I didn't know what number I was at. I was just going. But yeah, that'll sting me for some time.
Q. I think you could have won it because you had the money balls.
DEVIN BOOKER: Yeah, I only made two of five. I needed three to tie for the win.
Q. Do you think that Dame Lillard is really injured with how well he shot it?
DEVIN BOOKER: No, I think it's a great feat for him. Dame is somebody I have a lot of respect for. It's his third time winning it. Somebody I was teammates with in the Olympics. Going into it, I thought it was going to be Kon or Dame or me, and it ended up being the final round and some good shooting going on.
Q. You had called it early, you said that Dame would be in the mix.
DEVIN BOOKER: Yeah, I always expect it. I expect it when I play against him in the real game, also. Yeah, he shot the ball well. There it is.
Q. You have a big Filipino fan base. How have you felt their support? You had Filipino Heritage Night. How have you felt the Filipino support out there?
DEVIN BOOKER: Yeah, I feel it. Especially with Jalen Green on the team. I know it's part of his heritage. I told Nike I want to go through there on a shoe tour.
Never been. I want to go. I know how they feel about the game of basketball, so I know it's a place I'll enjoy.
Q. Were you looking forward to doing the Dame Time sign in the clutch?
DEVIN BOOKER: No, I wouldn't do that. I got respect for Dame. I wouldn't do that.
Q. What's the biggest surprise so far from the Suns' season?
DEVIN BOOKER: I think we surprise a lot of people how hard we play, how consistent we play. We still have a lot of work to do, but the team is meshing well. The chemistry is picking up, and it's a fun team to be a part of.
Q. What do you think of the group of USA Stars?
DEVIN BOOKER: I'm the old head on the team. I like it. I like being around the young energy, a few first-time All-Stars on the team. You can see by the demeanor, you can see how they carry themselves that they're taking it all in and enjoying the moment.
