Q. Rianne, that was excellent golf out there today. 6-under in the second round in what most girls are saying are tricky conditions. Talk to us a little bit about your round.

RIANNE MALIXI: Well, I've been hitting a lot of really good iron shots today, and it was much better than yesterday. I was hitting it much closer and I dropped a couple putts in fortunately. Left a couple out there, so I know there is a lot of room for improvement and I can shoot even lower, knowing that I fought like this.

So, yeah, the conditions today I thought was going to blow more, like harder, but it didn't. I think that was a win.

Q. So you were saying to me earlier it was not very windy in your round so you felt like even though it was raining you were still able to take advantage of the calm conditions.

RIANNE MALIXI: Yes, I did. Like I said earlier, I thought it was going like blow harder, and then it was raining this morning, and then when I played it just didn't rain as much.

I think it rained like 8 or 9th hole through my 16th hole, so it was good conditions.

Q. Plenty of birdies out there for you today. Which one stands out as a real highlight?

RIANNE MALIXI: I mean, I was really steady so I couldn't really like tell you like what really stood out, because I was hitting it really close.

So I just take what I can get.

Q. Yeah. You are a couple shots back of the lead heading into the weekend. Do you like to try and chase down a lead or do you prefer to be out in front? Where do you feel most comfortable?

RIANNE MALIXI: I really don't want to think about how far back I am. I just want to play my best golf, really focus on my game, take it shot by shot. Anyone can shoot really low if they really focus on it, so I'm just going to do that.
