Quick Quotes
Q. Jeneath, thanks so much for joining us. Can you reflect on your second round for us?
JENEATH WONG: I played pretty consistently. Made some silly mistakes I guess, two bogeys -- oh, no, three bogeys and two birdies. I managed to come back a bit, but today's pin positions and weather was definitely really hard.
Q. Yeah, the weather was really testing today. Can you describe it for us?
JENEATH WONG: Just as we were about to tee off it was kind of like white rain. You couldn't see anything. Tee box was flooding. I thought it was going to suspend a little, but nothing. Just kept going.
Q. The Royal Wellington course really handled it quite well, didn't it? It drained quite quickly.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, like when the rain slowed down a little the course got dried.
Q. What was the highlight of your day today?
JENEATH WONG: Probably just the two birdies I guess. Maybe some good par saves.
Q. Which of the birdies stands out as the best highlight?
JENEATH WONG: Probably hole 7. I had a pretty good uphill putt probably 18 feet for birdie.
Q. With the rain and the greens slowing down a little bit, did that make you feel more confident to go after those kinds of putts?
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, definitely, I think being a bit more aggressive today was probably the goal.
Q. Can you talk to us about that hole, just tee to green, what clubs you used, what distance you had?
JENEATH WONG: On that birdie hole?
Q. Yeah.
JENEATH WONG: I hit driver and I had 121 meters and I hit a 9-iron just left of the pin and straight uphill putt.
Q. What's the goal for the weekend?
JENEATH WONG: Since it's moving day, definitely make a bit more birdies and probably try for harder birdies.
