TV Quick Quotes
Q. Good fight out there; what made it feel like a fight today?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: The wind was up and it was switching and it was honestly going back and forth all day long. On 9, there was a moment where I thought it was off the left, then it right off the right when I hit. On 15, it was downwind, then it went just off the right. 16, it swirled for Jon. 17 was fine. There was a few -- 14 was a perfect example. I thought the wind was off the left, considering the last hole, and the wind was off the right and I missed it long left. It's just one of those things that makes it difficult out here, and that's why we love golf.
Q. You hit driver on 17 into a fairway that you literally have to walk single file on. When do you decide to make those aggressive plays?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: If I feel crazy enough to do it.
Q. In doing that, you gave us a priceless moment on TV, but you also gave a thrill to all the people that come out here. This event is special, a ton of kids out here. What does it mean to you to play in front of them and help do what your mission in life is to do, at least in professional golf?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: I mean, that's what LIV Golf is about. That's what the Crushers are about, inspiring and entertaining. It's our two favorite things. Seeing a bunch of kids out there, being able to sign autographs and give stuff to the kids is why we play golf here in Australia and around the world.
Q. After a round like this, what are you going to go work on?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: My stomach.
