Si Woo Kim

Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

TPC Scottsdale

Quick Quotes

Q. 62 today. Obviously a lot was working. In your eyes, what was working in your golf game?

SI WOO KIM: Yeah, was a little struggling with the iron yesterday. First time of the season, so just scared to hit the ground, like was worry about too much chunk, fat.

So just trying to good contact and it came out couple shots great, so it makes me comfortable rest of the round. So I think that just keep going and it work great.

Q. Momentum is a big word. Akshay just talked about it. You had some really good starts to the season and a tough round yesterday. How mentally do you respond from playing really well to a tough round to coming out today and shooting a 62?

SI WOO KIM: Yeah, I had a great start season first three, so it helps me little nerve going, and then helps makes comfortable maybe rest of the season. I think it was too much comfortable yesterday and helps me little fire going.

And today I make bogey first hole so that makes me like, whatever, just trying to good golf, and it worked.

Q. How do you enjoy playing in the Waste Management as a whole? Do you enjoy this tournament

SI WOO KIM: Yeah, it's always fun to play back nine. When you start back nine first, feel a little boring like front nine, the back side.

So it's a lot of fun and made a good birdie on 16. It was fun, too.
