Q. Ivan, another steady round today. How pleased are you with that?

IVAN VERSTER: Really pleased. Got off to quite a hot start. Putter was cold the back nine. Shot 4-under the front nine, level par back nine. But happy I'm hitting my irons good so giving myself enough chances. Hopefully the putter just heats up.

Q. As you said, five birdies on the opening nine and then last one on the 18th. Did any of them stand out for you?

IVAN VERSTER: Not really. The one on 1 was pretty really good. I hit just over the bunker and hit this low bullet 7-iron, hit it into the bank and went to 20 feet, so, yeah, that was nice.

Q. You were playing with some other nations today. How nice is it to play with people from different countries?

IVAN VERSTER: Yeah, it's good. They can learn something, I can learn something from them, so it's always interesting playing with other neighbors.

Q. You're second on the leaderboard at the moment; 36 holes to go. How are you feeling going into the next couple days?

IVAN VERSTER: Feeling good. Still a lot of golf left, like same I said yesterday. 36 more holes left, so anything can happen. Just give myself a chance.
