TGL PRESENTED BY SOFI: ATLANTA DRIVE GOLF CLUB V JUPITER LINKS GOLF CLUB

February 2, 2026

Billy Horschel

Chris Gotterup

Lucas Glover

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA

SoFi Center

Atlanta Drive GC

Press Conference

Jupiter Links GC 8, Atlanta Drive GC 6

BILLY HORSCHEL: I wanted to give Chris a better putt than that downhiller one. Then after that, they hit quality golf shots. I think the next four or five shots they hit within gimme range, really, inside 10 feet. We couldn't match them.

Then we just got behind the 8-ball, and when you get behind the 8-ball it's tough to catch up. You start trying to throw hammers in positions that you're not sure if it's the best position.

It happens. They played great. It was a matter of time until all three of them played good, and all of them played really good tonight. There was no weak link.

Q. How was it having JT out there for you guys, Lucas?

LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, it was great. I saw him hit a couple shots in there during practice, so pretty sure he's chomping at the bit. I see him a lot here at home practicing hard, and he's working his way back. So really good to see him out and supporting us and cheering us on, having some fun. Good to see him out.

Q. Chris, you've played a lot of golf lately, all the TOUR events, playing here, just shuffling between the West Coast and East Coast. How are you feeling right now fatigue-wise and just overall being here?

CHRIS GOTTERUP: Yeah, I feel pretty good. I've been traveling a little bit. But this is fun, exciting stuff, and obviously not as exciting at the moment, but yeah, I've been lucky enough to play three matches for the team, and hopefully this isn't my last one, losing.

It's been a lot of fun, and I wouldn't say no to coming and playing. I'm excited to get back on the road tonight and get ready for Phoenix.

Q. Billy, it's been a while since we've seen you on this side of the ledger. How does that feel, and what's your schedule coming up?

BILLY HORSCHEL: It sucks. I hate losing. I think like everybody who's a part of TGL. It doesn't matter whether we lose in a PGA TOUR event, we lose in TGL, we lose in a money game at home. We all hate to lose. It sucks. It's not a great feeling. I felt I didn't help out my team as well as I needed to today.

But yeah, we're playing next week in Phoenix. Excited about the WM. Right now I'm not in the Signature Events. Obviously got injured so didn't finish inside the top 50 of the FedEx. I'm going to need to play well this week to get into them or maybe a sponsor exemption. I don't know how those are all going to play out.

I'm going to be playing -- I said I'm going to be playing as much as I can. Just going to see how it goes. Obviously got to make sure the body is still in a good spot to be able to compete on a weekly basis.

Q. You and Justin have both won, haven't played in TGL. I'm curious how much you think it helps you guys when you go out on TOUR, playing in these events, getting some competition and hitting some chips and putts that matter?

CHRIS GOTTERUP: There's no doubt about it. We had a text chain when I was playing well in Sony and they were giving me some flak for hitting stingers on the golf course.

But it really helps. I think you can't -- it's hard to recreate. Even when we're practicing in money games at home, it's hard to recreate the type of energy in your body that you have to hit a good shot when it matters.

Luckily, the first two matches were before the season and I got to feel a little adrenaline, and it definitely helped me coming down the stretch at Sony.

I think it's nothing but helpful being in here.

Q. I was just going to ask you, Lucas, how has rehab been? How are you feeling? Are you expecting to resume a full schedule pretty soon?

LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, going to play Pebble next week. Rehab went well, then a little setback around Thanksgiving kept me out of the first few events this year. I think we've got a good handle on it.

I'm kind of mirroring what Chris said; this was the first competition of any kind since August, and I just wanted to see how mind and body would respond. So good things. So I feel pretty good about getting out to Pebble next week.
