Q. Okay, here with Amy Yang after the conclusion of the third round the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Can you just talk about this week as a whole for and you what it's been like.
AMY YANG: I wish we played fourth round, but I think I did really well last three rounds, especially -- how can I say this? I think I just proved myself, to myself that I prepared well in the offseason, and I have more clear idea what to work on for the next few days for the actual, full travel starts.
And, yeah, I'm happy how I played this week.
Q. Amy, what was your reaction when the tournament was reduced to 54 holes and the final round canceled today?
AMY YANG: Like I said, I wish I played final round, you know, give myself a little chance. But it was playing very cold out there. I got here early warming up for 10:00 a.m. resume, and the greens weren't playable.
It was frozen, so I could understand that we couldn't finish in time, yeah.
Q. Once it went to 54 you kind of had a tough assignment. You had to go birdie-eagle to get into a playoff. Did that go through your mind at all as you're standing on the 17th tee?
AMY YANG: I mean, everyone told me about it so I can't not think about it. I just did my best. It was still very cold and windy, and wish I put a better stroke on the 17th putt, but three on that hole was a good score for tough conditions like this, yeah.
Q. What was -- curious, which conditions were tougher, the end of yesterday or what you faced going back out to finish today?
AMY YANG: Oh, yesterday was definitely playing tough. Yeah, I mean, I wasn't there but the players who played on 17, they said balls weren't stop, so definitely unplayable.
Q. How big was the backup on 17 as everybody was waiting to see if the wind would die down?
AMY YANG: I think three groups were on that tee box, yeah.
Q. So when they called it then, were you kind of happy that you didn't have to deal with the wind on that green?
AMY YANG: I mean, because it's unplayable, yeah, yeah. But I knew what kind of weather was coming today, so wish we had a little earlier start yesterday. But it is what it is.
Q. Traded one problem for another, right?
AMY YANG: Yeah. (Smiling.)
Q. Amy, you said the greens were frozen when you were warming up. You felt like they were unplayable. Once you were out there and you had to complete your third round today how would you describe the conditions on the course. Did you feel like they were playable at that point?
AMY YANG: Oh, yeah. It got much better. It is still very cold, but compared to this morning 9:00 a.m. when I was warming up, much better condition. Yeah, it was playable.
Q. So you felt like it was playable for them to possibly play the fourth round this afternoon?
AMY YANG: Yeah, but the tee times are very late, so we don't have enough daylight time. So, yeah, I could understand that we couldn't compete for the fourth round.
