THE MODERATOR: Jasmine, a very emphatic victory today, a very quick one. Give us your thoughts on the match and opening up at Rod Laver Arena.

JASMINE PAOLINI: I think I played a solid match. I was focused I think all the time, so it was good. And, yeah, it's not easy to play the first match and the slams on a big court, but I'm happy with my performance.

Q. You had the benefit of playing on Sunday. You have two or three days to prepare. I know it was simple straight sets, but with these days off how are you going to spend them and how are you quickly going to get into preparations for the next round?

JASMINE PAOLINI: I think today it's a day to recovery, and then tomorrow for sure I'm going to practice. Tuesday, I don't know if maybe I could play doubles, as well. So it's not bad. We'll see. I don't know yet.

Q. So talking about doubles with Sara, because I don't think I've asked you about playing doubles, playing with Sara, with her being on your team as a singles coach, but still playing the doubles together?

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yes, I mean I like to play doubles and I think, you know, it can help me to stay in the competition. Also to share the court with Sara is great. She's in my team.

Yeah, but doubles is something different right now. You know, I want to win. But, yeah, I like to play doubles, so if I play Tuesday I'm happy about it.
