THE MODERATOR: Thank you for coming, Lorenzo. Can you talk us through your match today?

LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah, it's always tough to play against a friend, obviously. He played unbelievable with no mistake today, and it was tough to make a point and to be aggressive without any mistake.

I think I can play better than this, but also, he played a big match. I'm proud of myself, because I was in the match until the end.

THE MODERATOR: Were the conditions a bit better today than the day before yesterday for you? Do you prefer the heat or the cool?

LORENZO SONEGO: No, I prefer the heat, yeah, because it help my serve. Yeah, but it was, I think, good condition for me also today. That's not the difference.

THE MODERATOR: And where are you going from here? What's the rest of your beginning of the year like for you?

LORENZO SONEGO: It's a good start for me. I work hard on my shots, and I think I will be better in the next tournament maybe. I play Buenos Aires, Rio, Santiago on clay, and I want to do something special there.
