HILTON GRAND VACATIONS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

January 31, 2026

Brooke Henderspn

Orlando, Florida, USA

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. All right, very pleased to be joined by Brooke Henderson here after her third round at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Very solid 6-under from you today in some not-so-ideal conditions. Take us through the round.

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, very pleased to shoot 6-under. It was really fun to make a bunch of birdies. I felt like I was hitting it really well and Brit was doing a really good job of calculating distances and giving me the right yardage and the right clubs to hit, so it was really fun.

I hit a lot of greens and gave myself a lot of opportunities, and it was nice to see some putts roll in.

Q. How did the conditions change throughout the day?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Honestly this morning, the first four, five holes it was really nice. It was chilly but no winds, very calm. It was quite fun.

Then all of a sudden we kind of turned the corner and the wind came howling and it really cooled down. So it was lots of adjusting throughout the day, but overall, feel like we handled it really well. I feel like this is just kind of a warmup into what's going to happen tomorrow.

Q. Do you have a best shot that you hit in the wind today or highlight out there?

BROOKE HENDERSON: My shot into 18 I was really pleased with. That's not an easy shot at any time, and then the wind was coming left-to-right of the lake and pin was kind of on the left side there, so happy to hit it in there pretty close and then make the putt for birdie.

Q. What's a must-have item for you in the bitter cold?

BROOKE HENDERSON: In the cold, probably hand warmers. I had two today. Probably more tomorrow.

Q. How aggressive can you be on this course tomorrow?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Honestly, I'm not really sure yet. I guess when we wake up and we're hitting balls on the range we might be able to get a feel for the weather conditions. Right now it looks horrible.

Hopefully we will be able to play. I don't know if that's even an option of not playing because it's so cold and windy. But I think just taking whatever the course gives you and just trying to be your best.
