MARDY FISH: Yeah, Aaron played awesome today. Fun to be in his group and also Lottie played really well, too. Just really awesome group. Just super fun to kind of watch them.

Aaron hit the ball amazing today and seven birdies, six birdies and an eagle, five birdies and an eagle, something like that.

It was awesome to watch.

Q. With the cold tomorrow, any other thoughts?

MARDY FISH: Yeah, I haven't seen the leaderboard so I don't know if we kind of pushed our way through to have just the maybe the two of us or so. You know, I don't know.

Q. Aaron and you then John Smoltz.

MARDY FISH: Just tomorrow I hear it's supposed to be pretty windy. Just got to keep it in front of you and just kind of play boring golf as opposed to trying for the hero shots I guess.

Yeah, just kind of make a bunch of pars.

Then on the wind, pars on the weekend is probably going to be a pretty good thing I would assume.

Q. Sometimes you hear pros talk about when they're paired together being able to pull each other along with good rounds.

MARDY FISH: Yeah.

Q. Does that work for the celebrity side and does it help when the third is also the professional co-leader?

MARDY FISH: Yeah, oh. Yeah, certainly helps me. Yeah, you always play better with better players. You know, I always really enjoy this tournament, just playing with the women and just, again, seeing how good they are and how they play.

Lottie made a bunch of putts on the back nine, which was awesome to watch. Yeah, just sort of gives you good vibes to see her tempo and see their tempo on the greens and stuff like that and how they go about it.

Yeah, definitely play better.

And then watching Aaron, if I didn't play even okay we would've gotten lapped just the way he played, the points he got today. So really impressive. We're only halfway done. We got two more rounds. We'll see if he can keep it up.
