MARDY FISH: Maybe there. Not three?

Q. I don't know. I'll verify the scorecard I'm looking at here. Either way, great day on the course.

MARDY FISH: Three. I think. We'll figure it out. (Smiling.) Don't cut me short. I don't have very many of those, you know.

Q. Yeah, talk about how you played today and how it was on the course?

MARDY FISH: Yeah, it was awesome. Obviously super excited before, during, and after to be able to play with Jeeno. Was a sweetheart. Just an incredible player. Any time you get around a No. 1 in the world of anything it's pretty exciting. I just have such a love for golf and I enjoy so much watching the girls play and just like kind of how they get it around.

Just how disciplined they are and just good, right? And so it was super cool. Played with Nelly and played with some of the girls in this tournament that are -- that have been No. 1 kind of at the time, so it's just super cool to see it up close. And just her ball flight, how she putts it, so good. So that was super, super fun.

And then I had a great group. Taylor and I are really close. Love playing with him in these things. He didn't play very well today for him but he'll get it going.

As far as the course, it's in beautiful shape. Greens are perfect. They're so fast. We don't play on greens this fast very often, so just great to play alongside the LPGA girls and just women, ladies, and just kind of throw your game up there a little bit with them and just -- you know, you're just feeling like you're playing almost a different golf course a little bit just the way that we hit it and they hit it.

And then they get it in the hole a lot faster than we do; it's super cool to see.

Q. You've been playing a lot of golf lately?

MARDY FISH: I've been trying, yeah. I got a couple young ones at home. Lucky enough the wife let's me play during the school days; weekends are pretty difficult.

I've got an 11 year old that's pretty sporty in golf. I get to kind of bring him around and then I'll just play with him. So I get to play now kind of on the weekends too, which is fun.

Yeah, we kind of make it a family thing a little bit as well. My wife is kind of getting into it. I'm getting my nine year old daughter into it a little bit. I just think it's such a cool thing to be able to do at an early age, for men or women.

So trying to get her going a little bit. She hasn't quite caught the bug yet like my son has, but we're hoping she's pretty close.

Q. Knowing you know the Kordas like you do, is there a common trait that you've seen within the family that attributes to their collective success?

MARDY FISH: That's a great question. Man, I mean, I'm a huge fan of Seby obviously, just same sport. I was his Davis Cup captain and I think the world of him. Such a sweet kid. First all, three awesome kids.

Yeah, I mean, it's impressive obviously. Miss Jess out here honestly. You know, she and I won here maybe before it was the Hilton version. Tranquilo there; she won in a playoff.

So we kind of won together, which was really fun. I don't know. Just good to see her dad. I didn't get to play her dad. He's way older than me. Make sure that's in the transcript. He's way older.

But we have the common theme of talking about Seby and his game. I don't know though. Mentally they're awesome. Nelly was No. 1 in the world. She's No. 2 in the world, right? So basically No. 1. It's close enough.

I mean, she's just impressive the way she goes about -- almost like Federer in a way, her attitude. You don't know if she makes a birdie or a bogey on a hole. You didn't know if he won or lost the point the way he handled himself. It's really difficult to do that. I can't do that. I'm feisty and I get pissed, you know, yell and scream at myself and my caddie and all that stuff.

At least I try not to but I do. Yeah, they're awesome. I'm a little bummed that Nelly is marrying a Packers fan. Seby and I are big Vikings fan, so in a text chain we're on her about that.

So, yeah, just good to see them. Good to see Petr obviously out here, yeah.
