Quick Quotes
Q. 2026 American Express champion. Now this marks your 20th victory on the PGA TOUR, lifetime membership, youngest to do so since Tiger. What does this overall mean to you?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, it means a lot. It was a challenging week. I did a good job of staying patient and executing when I needed to. It was another really solid day out on the course.
Q. Seeing you celebrate with your wife and Bennett as well, what would the young version of Scottie Scheffler make of the Scottie Scheffler that we know today?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Might be a bit confused. I don't really know, to be honest with you. I always dreamed of being able to play on the PGA TOUR, and it's a blessing to be able to be out here and compete, and it's even bigger blessing to be able to win some tournaments. And, yeah, I don't know what he would say.
Q. Overall, you know, you got your No. 1 fans over there, what would you love for them to make of your performance, but not just as golfer, as a person overall?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Oh, well, I couldn't do what I do out here week in, week out if it wasn't for their support. My wife is my biggest supporter, doing tons of stuff behind the scenes in order to get me out here and ready to play. Whether it's waking up at 5:15 this morning to make me breakfast this week or packing up most of our stuff today so we can get home. Just little things that nobody sees. She's my best friend.
Q. What was the secret recipe in the breakfast?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Some good eggs, some bacon, some yogurt.
