Quick Quotes
Q. Harry, 66 today. Just start with some general comments on your round.
HARRY HALL: Yeah, I played really nice. Hitting the ball where I'm looking and doing well judging the wind tee to green. Did a lot better job today of making some putts.
Q. Did you make any adjustments in your putting compared to the first two days?
HARRY HALL: Yeah. Yesterday -- the first day didn't blow too much in the morning and yesterday was very similar to today and I didn't putt good. Today I just changed a little -- some little tweaks in my putting. Just playing for more wind really instead of picking a spot I kind of judged my instincts when I was over the ball.
Q. Can you talk about what mentally playing in wind like this does for you?
HARRY HALL: Yeah, you know, it's not too different tee to green really. Just playing for the wind to hit the ball. Putting-wise I'm so precise when it comes to reading the greens with my feet and picking a spot.
Yeah, I think you just have to kind of pick windows instead of spots. Depends on how much it blows when you're over the ball. You kind of choose the highest part of that window or the lowest part basically.
Q. Last year you finished T10 at this event. Currently 10-under, in the top 2 on the leaderboard. Is a there a sense of comfort you have around this place?
HARRY HALL: I think if you keep it in play there is lots of wedges. That's the bread and butter of my game, inside 150 and putting lights out, and hopefully, depending on how much it blows tomorrow, I'll be more comfortable with less wind obviously.
I'm hitting the ball so good. That's part of the game I really worked on this year, or this fall when I took some time off, and it's paying off. My dispersion is a lot tighter.
Q. What's the mindset going into tomorrow?
HARRY HALL: Same as last few days really. Last year I was in contention. I was one off the lead with nine to go and I didn't do very well.
I think mindset would be probably to do whatever makes me comfortable off the tees, and if I can keep it on the short stuff for most of the day then I have a great chance.
