THE MODERATOR: Ugo, not the result you were after today, but still an incredible run here in Adelaide. What are your takeaways from the week?

UGO HUMBERT: A lot of confidence. I played five great matches. I just have to say congratulations to Tomas. He played a great level from the beginning to the end, so congrats to him, yeah.

THE MODERATOR: A few short questions in the room, please.

Q. What did you think the difference was between you and Tomas in the end? He was just putting a lot of pressure on your serve, he's got a lot of shot-making ability.

UGO HUMBERT: Yeah, maybe I was not really fresh, because last night I finished my match late. I felt, at the end of the second set, when we started the third one, I have a little bit less energy. But he didn't give me anything, so just congratulations to him. It was a close one, but he was better, so congrats.

Q. How are you physically? Particularly with what's coming up in Melbourne, what's the toll on your body?

UGO HUMBERT: At the end it was not easy. I tried to push myself until the end. But it's like that (laughing). I had a tough one yesterday against Fokina. I have two days before my Australian Open, against Shelton, so I need to do a good recovery to be ready and fresh for my battle against Ben.

Q. On that match against Ben, can you talk a little bit about that match, what you're expecting, and what you think you'll need to do in that match?

UGO HUMBERT: He has a really big serve. It's going to be the first time we played. I think I played him at the UTS, but in the ATP match and Grand Slam it's going to be the first time. So, amazing player, super aggressive from the baseline. He tries to go a lot to the net. It's going to be a great battle, yeah, between two lefties, so it's nice.
