Q. 5-under through the first six holes, what pleases you most about your play over the first two days?

NACHO ELVIRA: I feel like off the tee I hit it really well. That's something I struggled with in the past, and we made a couple changes and I think it's paying off. So I'm very happy with the way I'm hitting it off the tee. So it's putting me in good positions to take advantage.

I feel like I've been hitting the ball decent these past couple case. I made a few good putts coming in. I hit a great shot on 18. I hit it to like three feet but apart from that, the key was putting myself in good position and making good putts.

Q. Very relaxed atmosphere out here this week, do you think that helps?

NACHO ELVIRA: Definitely. Especially the beginning of of the season. I didn't have a lot of time to practice. It's been really bad weather in Spain, and Madrid, especially. Being relaxed and being in nice weather, being able to equity the rust off helps, definitely.

Q. You played a lot last season and you found a lot of consistency and had a good overall campaign. What's the key this year to going one better?

NACHO ELVIRA: I wish I knew. I wouldn't be here. I really don't know. I think we work on -- my caddie and I, we have a pretty good team, and we do things, I think very steady. It's working out for the past two seasons, I'd say and we just keep building little by little. It's not about making big changes. I think we are stuck with the things that we do right and keep building little by little.
