Team Argentina

Flash Quote

S. BAEZ/T. Fritz

4-6, 7-5, 6-4

Argentina - 1

Team USA - 0

Q. Second match in Perth and second win against another strong opponent. What's working for you so far on the court?

SEBASTIAN BAEZ: Work? Everything, I think. It's going very well like all the job from the preseason. Going better since many injuries from the last two years. So, of course, happy. Happy for me, for my team, and to my team Argentina.

Q. Is there something that clicked for you after losing the first set today? What changed in the match?

SEBASTIAN BAEZ: Because I felt had my chances in the first set. More because on the game from my serve on the four or five, I played so bad because I was too nervous. So I changed that mindset, because I lost many, many matches against him with the same feeling.

I just wanted to try to finish the match with another feeling so I can do it.

Q. Lastly, would you say that this is one of the biggest wins of your career so far?

SEBASTIAN BAEZ: Yes, of course. The biggest and more because he beats me many, many times, so I happy for that.
