LIV GOLF PROMOTIONS

January 10, 2026

Richard T. Lee

Lecanto, Florida, USA

Black Diamond Ranch

Quick Quotes

Q. Richard, your second bogey-free 64 round of the week. Seems like you're very much in control of your game golf and maybe in control of this tournament, too. How would you assess today?

RICHARD T. LEE: Well, I didn't have any eagles like yesterday. But I'll take six birdies out there, no bogeys. Definitely the key is to not make mistakes out there and try to make as many birdies as you can.

Q. What would be the mindset right now as the leader going into the final 18 holes? Obviously you just need to finish in the top 3. Do you reel it back a little bit or do you just watch how it's going to play out?

RICHARD T. LEE: I'm just going to have the same mentality as the last few days and just play the best I can. Not really think about I'm in the lead or who's behind me. Just play well.

Q. A year ago you made it to the weekend, but you were eight shots back after the third round. So it's a little bit different mindset now. Is it more comfortable? Is it more stuff to process mentally?

RICHARD T. LEE: Honestly, I don't think it would be comfortable for any player to have a two-shot lead on the last day.

I think just putting my hat on and just play my golf. Play golf.

Q. Why do you think it's been happening for you these three rounds? Did you feel like it was going to happen the way it's played out so far for you?

RICHARD T. LEE: I think I've just been taking advantage on the holes that I can, and definitely on the hard holes try to make pars and try to not make bogeys. I think just how I've been playing the last three days.

Q. You've been playing so well this week. The tee shot that went awry, that seemed to come out of nowhere.

RICHARD T. LEE: Yeah, tried to ride the wind. It was a slice wind. I was trying to hit a low stinger 3-wood and kind of duffed it and it almost went OB, but luckily it didn't and I made a par.

Q. As a proven winner on the International Series, and the top 10 finishers will get to earn a chance at the International Series this season, too, what is your advice for those guys who have never played in Asia?

RICHARD T. LEE: Definitely I think everyone wants to play on Asian Tour right now. I think there's a lot of benefits to all the players and definitely bigger purses. A lot of good players out there.

I think everyone wants to play on the International Series.

Q. Now we have majors qualifications on the IS events, so do you think you'll come back and play next year?

RICHARD T. LEE: Oh, definitely, definitely. I'm going to plan my schedule to play most of the International Series events next year, as well, or this year.
