CFP QUARTERFINAL AT THE CAPITAL ONE ORANGE BOWL: OREGON VS TEXAS TECH

December 30, 2025

Cameron Dickey

Miami Gardens, Florida, USA

Hard Rock Stadium

Texas Tech Red Raiders

Press Conference

Q. After so many early games, what advantage do you have over a team like Oregon that's only played one early this year?

CAMERON DICKEY: You know, Coach says we're great at early games. We are. First of all, I like to wake up and just get going for a game. We all thrive on early games, so it's going to be awesome.

Q. You guys only played on one natural grass field earlier this year. What's going to be different about that?

CAMERON DICKEY: We look forward to playing on grass, so I feel like that's (indiscernible).

Q. What was practice like this morning?

CAMERON DICKEY: Practice this morning was down at FAU. Saw a few of the coaches from a few years ago that are out there now, some of the guys. We were really locked in, felt good outside. We had a great walk-through. Everyone was just locked in.

Q. You've had a long layoff. How do you avoid a slow start?

CAMERON DICKEY: I think Coach has a great plan. We've been very active, been practicing a lot. We've had a few days off, which has been nice, as well. But yeah, just staying active, and I think we're going to do great.

Q. (On what you like about Miami.)

CAMERON DICKEY: Love Miami. Great weather, the breeze, ocean view. It's nice.
