Q. Congratulations. You made it through the first round. I wanted to first start off you guys started off pretty hot today. You came in with 6-under on the front nine. You've always said that you play for fun. How that is been just being out here again for your 11th appearance?

GREG PRICE: Good. Yeah, I don't know. Been a fun round. We never really took it seriously. This year has been a little different, so practice a little harder.

NICK PRICE: Yeah, it was a great day. We got off to a great start. You know, Greg holed three really nice putts on the first three holes which really got our tails in the air. Then we just carried on. He kept making the putts. I think I only putt about four times today, which was really nice.

All in all, you know, really nice dame we only really struggled on one hole. Rest of the time we were putting for birdies, which is really good.

So pretty happy. We tied our best score ever in this event for a single day, so 10-under is good for us.

GREG PRICE: Yeah.

Q. You said you're taking a little bit different approach this year. How have you prepared coming into this event?

GREG PRICE: Been working on my grip a lot. My shoulders were always a little open and he has been hounding me to basically just close them a little bit more.

NICK PRICE: Took him 36 years to listen to me. It's a lot of fun. When we play like that, it's so much fun being out there. You know, the birdies just came easy today. Sometimes you struggle. We saw the Lehmans the front nine hit so many good putts and nothing went in. Seemed like we were making them from all over the place.

That's golf I guess.

Q. What's your favorites part about this tradition being together?

NICK PRICE: Playing with my son, and for us, playing with a lot of my contemporaries over the years. Lee Trevino has obviously been an idol of mine for many years. For Greg, go ahead with all the boys, the sons that you were in daycare with from way back from 34, 33 years ago.

GREG PRICE: Yeah. Known these guys for 30 years, so fun to see them every year.

Q. Greg, how many rounds of golf have you played with your dad since last year?

NICK PRICE: Four.

GREG PRICE: Four, five.

Q. So you played before. Why is it extra fun this week? Is it just the structured nature of the competition?

GREG PRICE: I think we're just a little bit more like freed up this year. Past couple years have been a little stressful. You know, like get to the green and just have a good hole and then a bad hole and then we would have a good hole. This year just like focusing on having fun. It's been a good time, so...

NICK PRICE: That's the big thing. Last year we came last and that kind of put a firecracker up our back side.

GREG PRICE: That didn't feel too good.

NICK PRICE: I said to Greg, he wasn't very happy after the last round last year, and I said, well, you've got to have it sting. If it stings you know you care.

So this year just it's different. I said we put our smile on our faces and go play golf and just have fun. That's the real key.

GREG PRICE: Yeah.

Q. Greg, is it hard to block out that pressure? The guy next to you is used to being watched on the golf course. You talked about being more determined this year than in the past. Is it difficult to block out the noise?

GREG PRICE: It has been. Over the years it's got earn a little easier, but I don't think I can be embarrassed more than I have been in the past, so I just kind of, you know, just go for it. Yeah.
