Q. What does it mean to you to get the call to take the ball for a Game 7?

GEORGE KIRBY: Super honored. Going to go out there and give it my best.

Q. Vlad, Jr. has been a big presence in this series. I wonder what your mindset is going into him and a potential Game 7 here?

GEORGE KIRBY: Yeah, he's a good hitter. We have ideas how to attack him and we just got to get inside a little bit, make him feel uncomfortable. Yeah, so...

Q. It's well documented you have experience in these kind of elimination games, how does that give you confidence going into tomorrow?

GEORGE KIRBY: Yeah, I love pitching under pressure and super glad I'm able to get Game 7, so, yeah.

Q. What did you learn about their lineup when you faced them in Game 3?

GEORGE KIRBY: They're aggressive. You got to hit your spots and not get too, mix your pitches a lot, get, make sure you get ahead, yeah.
