DP WORLD INDIA CHAMPIONSHIP

October 18, 2025

Brian Harman

New Delhi, Delhi, India

Delhi GC

Quick Quotes

BRIAN HARMAN: One of those days, two really good days to start, then a day where the marginal shots ended up in a bad spot and the good shots aren't close enough for birdie. Proud of the way I hung in there. To get a couple under out of my form today was pretty good. Just got to reset and try for a low one tomorrow.

Q. How would you (indiscernible)?

BRIAN HARMAN: It's kind of the rub of this place. I feel like trying to press it turned out to be the wrong decision because it ended up -- my provisional, hit 5 and made birdie. Tried to change my tactics a little bit. I've been playing really aggressively. It's a 50/50 ball; it's one of those where if I pull it off and hit 6-iron then (indiscernible) set the tone for the day, and when you don't pull it off, it kind of puts you in a bad place, and that's kind of what happened.

Q. A few unfortunate bogeys to begin the front and back, but outside of that a solid round. What's your assessment and what's the plan to be in contention for tomorrow?

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, I hit some great shots. A three-putt on 8, missed fairway on 9, missed fairway on 10, stuff that I've been doing a little bit better the first couple days. I might take a few chances tomorrow and try to execute and try to get off to a little better start.

Q. Do you think it'll be an out-and-out aggressive round from the beginning, or do you think you'll start that on the back nine --

BRIAN HARMAN: I'm never good at planning. This morning I didn't know what I was going to hit on 1 until I stepped up there. I felt good with the driver, and I get up on 14 and I've hit driver every day, and today it wasn't that I'm not aggressive or not confident, but with the pin in the back right, it's one of those, well, it's 5-wood, 5-wood, middle of the green, I can still make a 3 if I make a long putt. A lot of it's situationally dictated. If I feel great on the first hole tomorrow, I'll probably try and send it again. But if the pin is in a spot I can get 5-wood close, I'll probably go with that.

Q. Three shots between you and the leader; how do you see your chances?

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, for sure. I've had to retee twice. There's no telling what can happen. On just about every hole you can make a 6 or 7. I expect tomorrow to be an exciting day, and I'll give it everything I've got.
