Quick Quotes
Q. Just give us a recap of the day.
SHUBHANKAR SHARMA: Yeah, didn't get it going today. I was trying to hit it close, but I didn't really get the momentum in the first few holes. Yeah, bit of a struggle. Still an under-par round, but I felt like I could have gone much lower, especially after how I played yesterday.
Q. What were the thoughts in the morning when you were teeing off?
SHUBHANKAR SHARMA: I was quite relaxed actually. I had no expectation. I just wanted to go out and play my best. I was feeling quite nice. Had good range session. Just one of those days where things don't fully come together. I wouldn't say it was a bad day, but the way the scoring has been, there are a lot of birdies to be had on the golf course.
Q. How would you say the course is set up today? Would you say scoring is possible, or whoever scored has just played phenomenal?
SHUBHANKAR SHARMA: Scoring is possible. The setup has been the same the last few days. Pin positions are still tucked in places, but there's no wind, and that plays a big factor. That makes it much more scorable. When you see all the players, almost 3-under par would be a level-par round right now. Feels like I shot over par a little bit, but it still keeps my hopes for tomorrow if I can go and shoot a low one.
Q. What do you think would be the kind of scores you would expect from the leaders at the end of the week?
SHUBHANKAR SHARMA: I think if the conditions are the same, it will be about 20-under. I can see that happening. Obviously depending on how they finish, but in the end, a few of the tees are in the front, like the 18th, and a few other holes as well. It depends how they set it up today, but I'd say 18 to 20 is possible.
