Quick Quotes
Q. The course today, was it playing similar to the first two rounds? The scoring seems to be a little bit lower.
VIKTOR HOVLAND: Yeah, I think they used a lot of the hardest pin positions in the first two rounds, so maybe the pins are a hair easier. But still, the course is playing very similar. I think maybe everyone is just getting used to the narrowness of the tee shots and maybe it doesn't bother them as much.
Q. Is that the case for you? Have you mentally got your head around this golf course do you feel?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: Yeah, I hit every single fairway yesterday, and I think I only missed two today. Three actually, the last one in the first cut. Hitting it great off the tee, so setting up a lot of nice looks into the greens with my irons and trying to make some putts.
Q. How is the neck feeling?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: It's been good actually. Since I haven't been hitting any drivers it's holding up. Still taking painkillers and stuff to keep it going, but it feels quite nice. It's not really affecting the golf swing at all, so no excuses there.
Q. With the season that you've had and this tournament coming towards the end, what would a win tomorrow mean to you?
VIKTOR HOVLAND: It would be cool. I just enjoy travelling the world and playing all these tournaments, and adding a win in India, I think it's really, really cool to play in front of these fans and play a really unique golf course. Yeah, it would be really, really cool. But a lot of work left.
