Quick Quotes
Q. Here after the third round of the BMW Ladies Championship. Tough day in the conditions but you played awesome through it. What can you say about today's round?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, it was tough with the wind. I think everyone was anticipating it, though, looking at the forecasts from the beginning of the week. But I hit it really well. Made a lot of about putts, and just played really consistent.
Q. How would you compare it to the last couple days in the wind?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, it was really strong but it was pretty strong the last few days, too. It's just really on and off. Even today, it was definitely stronger today but there were some pockets where it was a little bit less windy.
Q. The last couple holes with the wind, especially 15 and 16 looked brutal. What can you say about how you played those holes?
YEALIMI NOH: I was just happy to hit the green on both holes. Definitely was really strong. I think just staying focused on contact with the ball, keeping it low helped me. But yeah, it was definitely very exposed out there.
Q. And what was the yardage like on 15 and club-wise, what did you end up with?
YEALIMI NOH: It was like 170 and I hit 4-iron, almost two clubs more. I went pretty left and kicked off the hill and went all the way down. It's just like, it's the green.
Q. And the tee shot looks downwind.
YEALIMI NOH: I had to hit 3-wood instead of driver, and I still ended up in the rough. My second shot out of the rough, I was still like 30 feet or so away.
Q. And was one of those days where like middle is good -- for the greens, what was your thought there.
YEALIMI NOH: For sure. Just hitting the greens, the greens are quite big here, though. I'm not too far away from the hole but getting to putt at it was good because my putter was feeling good today.
Q. I know we talked about the putter the other day but what about your putting has been feeling good? Is it the stroke is it the speed here?
YEALIMI NOH: I think the stroke, from the beginning of the week, my stroke's feeling really good. Hitting the ball really solid online and getting the speed down from yesterday. Yeah, the greens are great, too. Like some of them are a bit Sandy and then others are really great. So it's been good.
Q. Heading into Crown, too, how great do you feel about your game going into Crown right now and seeing some of those shots?
YEALIMI NOH: Really great. Just happy I'm hitting it well. Want to be this for my partner next week. Super excited. Just ready and again really excited to keep it going next week.
Q. You're one of out winners already this year. What have you learned about yourself when you won earlier this year, thinking back on it, what do you think you took away from that?
YEALIMI NOH: Just so much confidence, confidence that I really needed. And then it was a great start to the year. Obviously being one of the first events, and it just helped me keep that momentum and get it back this time of the year, too.
Q. And how much are you going to pull on that heading into tomorrow?
YEALIMI NOH: I think doing what I've been doing the last few days. It will be great. The crowds are great. They are so loud and very passionate. It's been fun to be here and see that.
I think everyone knows the Korean fans are passionate and love golf, and it's so awesome to see every year coming over here. It's also, I'm Korean, as well, so it's really cool to just be here and play in front of my family who is also here. It's really special.
Q. How many in your family?
YEALIMI NOH: My aunt and my cousin and my uncle and stuff. I was like, you guys don't have to come. It's so far. I was actually like, please don't come, it's too far. But they still made it down. So sits really nice to putt a good round in today.
Q. Do they know about this area?
YEALIMI NOH: No. Everyone just knows it as -- if you say "Haenam," it's like, that's the end of the country, literally we are at the end of the country. But they still made it down. Thankfully the weather wasn't too bad. It was windy but no rain, so thank you for that.
