Q. Tell me a little bit about how it was out there for you, both in terms of how you're feeling with your game and how it was playing at this level in front of home fans?

RAHIL GANGJEE: Obviously it's great to finish 5-under on the first round. The game has been okay last week but before that, not so great. So I'm really, really glad that it turned out the way it did today.

Obviously my caddie and myself we were just out there just trying to have some fun. I've been a little too serious with the game in the past eight months. Not been having fun.

Last week and this week has been fun. I guess it's the way to play golf.

Q. Has it been more fun being able to compete at home in front of the home fans with this level of tournament and these players?

RAHIL GANGJEE: It's great to have you guys here. I've only played this place a thousand times, so I'm not shocked the way I played. But having seen my results in the last eight months, I wasn't expecting it. Made some changes to my putting stroke, my putting grip. So I'm glad it's working out. That's all I can say.

Q. And a couple of wins last season. So obviously you know what it takes to win, despite you saying the last eight months haven't been exactly as you want them, what are you going to say to yourself mentally heading into the rest of the week?

RAHIL GANGJEE: You're right, last year and this year has been totally different to each other. I think I've just been really tired, not being mentally and physically present.

But heading into this week, like I said, all I want to do is just have some fun, hit some shots the way I know how to hit shots, and I don't really care -- I'm saying it -- but I don't really care how this week works out. I want to just have some fun playing golf for once.
